Lillgrund Inspection Dive

A photo dive at one of the wind turbines at Lillgrund

I was invited by Øresund Patrol to join them on their last dive at Lillgrund.
The concrete foundations for the wind turbines serves as artificial hard substrates for mussels and algae to attach to
Among the algea we find a lot of animals, like shrimp, crabs and other invertebrates
And lots of fish as well, like this goby
The conditions where quite chaotic this day with a lot of current, and pieces of algea floating in the water
As Lukasz focused on photogrammetry I found a sea stickleback among the algea
I followed it around as it swam at the outer edge of the foundation. Below are a series of images I took of it
I'm not sure how many where around, but at least two
It was a nice dive and I would love to return to the sticklebacks. However, diving is normally off limits here so I probably have to find their cousins somewhere else.
After the dive I accompanied Lukasz as he drove the boat to its new home at Helsingborg harbour.
Here it will rest until next adventure. Click the link below to visit Øresund Patrol's website to find out more and support them!
